It works fine on large resolution but I just can't seem to disable it during mobile view. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

So base from the suggestion, I managed to fix it with some if statements and it did the trick :)

var isMobile = false;

if ( /Android|webOS|iPhone|iPad|iPod|BlackBerry|IEMobile|Opera Mini/i.test(navigator.userAgent) ) {
isMobile = true;
}

if (isMobile != true) {

var $sidebar = $("#sticky"),
$window = $(window),
offset = $sidebar.offset(),
topPadding = 115;
$window.scroll(function() {
if ($window.scrollTop() > offset.top) {
$sidebar.stop().animate({
marginTop: $window.scrollTop() - offset.top + topPadding

} else {
$sidebar.stop().animate({
marginTop: 0
});
}
});
});
