how to know when the app get open from stack?

I want to know when the application get open from the stack and when the user open app directly from launcher icon.

ActivityManager.RunningAppProcessInfo return the package name both the times when app is in foreground as well as when in stack.

Method checks if the app is in background or not. Add this method in application class.
